BIT Training Center BIT Training Center (BTC) was established in August 1990 as a subsidiary IT Institute of BIT Computer to educate and deliver highly skilled programmers to the industry. Students completing the courses are fully equipped with sufficient amount of useful knowledge and experiences.



Characteristics of BIT Training Center

1) Only accepts qualified students
  Anyone applying to BTC (BIT Training Center) should be able to design programs with C language (basic requirement). Thus, most of the students applying to BTC are those who studied in computer science major or at least some computer related majors. First, all of the applied students must take an examination for the admission. Exam scores of those who pass the exam are used to determine appropriate course level for students. What comes next is the exclusive interview with the President Cho. Only after those students pass the interview, they can officially be admitted to BTC.

2) Transforming a beginner to an expert:
  BTC staffs evaluate the level or capability of the students. After this evaluation, BTC decides whether a student needs preparatory courses or not. Those students who need preparatory courses are recommended to take preparatory courses either in BTC or elsewhere.

3) Superb lines of instructors and educational environment
  Instructors: 80 master*s or Ph.D degree holders from Seoul National Univ. and KAIST (the two most prestigious universities in Korea)

4) Outstanding employment rate
  In BTC, students are required to complete BIT projects. Because of extremely high level of difficulty in BTC courses and projects, BTC have earned its recognition from IT industry. Because of this recognition, BIT graduates have been able to enjoy unlimited job opportunities and have actually been hired by many top-rated companies in Korea.

5) High quality projects
  All students are required to organize teams with other students. Each team selects a topic for its project and is given a period of three months to finish it. The program source codes of these projects are regularly published through two computer magazines: BIT Projects and Microsoftware. These BIT projects have also earned its recognition through a number of open presentations, exhibitions in COEX center, software contests, and etc.

6) Transferring new business items and human resources to organizations
  BTC transfers new business items and human resources to newly started organizations or companies with some other purposes.
